Back in 2010, the KD IV was the first of Durant’s signature shoes to really do numbers in retail space and that led the entire line to become what it is today. The Nerf KD IV brought all of us back to our childhood days with the Nerf basketball and hoop that came in this magnificent pack but the reseller’s price point drove the hype up but turned a lot of true fans away
Nike is bringing that same theme back on the new KD 6, just with a slightly different colorblocking pattern. This metallic silver upper is acccented by neon logos and a speckled midsole. The inner side panel wraps over onto the tongue with a red and green camo-like graphic, complete with a purple swoosh and laces.
Unfortunately, this pair will probably not come with the entire goody bag of Nerf toys but this theme still gives us some nostalgia. We are still awaiting more information about a release but we want to know your thoughts on Nike resurrecting the Nerf theme.
